THE PROBLEM OF LEARNING GERMAN PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS

Abstract. The article substantiates the necessity of studying the idioms at the lessons of a foreign language. Various approaches to understanding idioms are examined. The selection criteria of phraseological units are discussed. Examples of tasks and exercises, which allow solving effectively the problem of acquisition of phraseological units in the learning process in German as a foreign language, are given.
