THE ROLE OF NATURAL PHENOMENA IN THE RITES OF NAMING

Abstract. This article discusses the semantic peculiarities of using terms denoting natural phenomena in the modern Tatar anthroponymycon. The analysis of the modern anthroponymycon shows that the choice of the name is stipulated by external-domestic factors and cultural-historical conditions. In these characteristics the national specificity of the Tatars’ worldview, conscious influence on the psychology of the individual and the symbols of the national culture are represented.
