SEMANTIC STRUCTURE OF POLYPREDICATIVE SENTENCE WITH PARATAXIS AND HYPOTAXIS

Abstract. The article analyzes the components of semantic structure of the English polypredicative sentence with parataxis and hypotaxis. The semantic structure of paratactic and hypotactic complexes constituting polypredicative sentence includes the basic and subsidiary semantic elements. Analyzing semantic arrangement of polypredicative sentence the author identifies semantic cross-points which are formed from different components of paratactic and hypotactic complexes.
