MYTHOLOGICAL MOTIVES IN THE TATAR FOLK FAIRY TALES

Abstract. The article analyzes mythological motives in the Tatar folk fairy tales. The author shows that in the myth the identification of an object, natural phenomenon or an animal with a human being was based on mythological conception of the ancient world. The paper provides the analysis and examples of cosmogonic, anthropogenic, religious and solar myths.
