STRATEGIES AND TACTICS OF SPEECH MANIPULATION IN D. TRUMP’S INAUGURATION SPEECH

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the topical problem of speech manipulation in the political discourse. The analysis of the researchers’ views on the phenomenon of speech influence in general and manipulative influence in particular is presented. The author considers the main manipulative strategies and tactics in the inauguration speech of US President D. Trump. As a result of the material analysis the conclusion about strategic and tactical preferences of D. Trump from the point of view of speech manipulation is drawn.
