Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of using the principle of visualization of training material when teaching a foreign language. The author considers a different interpretation of the term of visualization. The paper substantiates the need to use the visualization strategy in the presentation of the training language material. The visual aids used in the methodology of teaching a foreign language are determined. The main stages in creating the training language material based on the visualization principle are highlighted. The study provides step-by-step descriptions of the actions at each stage.
