THE INTENSIFICATION OF THE PROCESS OF TEACHING A SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT THE HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article focuses on the problem of teaching a second foreign language to the students of non-linguistic directions. The specifics of the second foreign language as an academic discipline at the higher education establishment and the conditions under which it is studied are analyzed. Proceeding from this, it is proposed to intensify the learning process. The author substantiates the effectiveness of such intensification techniques as comparison, reading of foreign texts, selection of productive vocabulary, creating a situation of success, filling "the language biography".
