ON THE IDEA OF EXCLUSIVITY AND INCLUSIVITY OF THE SPEAKER

Abstract. The paper considers the idea of exclusivity and inclusivity of the speaker in relation to the Russian one-member verbal sentences. The necessity of consideration of this category in the study of semantics is substantiated. Semantic ambiguity and principles of differentiation of sentences with indefinite and generalized subjects of indefinite-personal sentences are characterized. The authors draw attention to the need for the special study of the concept of exclusivity and inclusivity of the speaker.
