PROBLEMS OF EDUCATION IN THE NOVEL OF I. A. EFREMOV "ANDROMEDA NEBULA"

Abstract. The article considers one of the key problems of I. A. Efremov’s novel "Andromeda Nebula" - the problem of human education and the importance of education in the transformation of the whole society. The main features of the system of education, proposed by the writer, are revealed. Their connection with the culture of antiquity and philosophy of Russian cosmism is shown. The author substantiates the topicality of the prose writer’s reflections on the problems of educating a person and changing the society for the contemporaneity. The paper notes the principality of the rational element in science fiction.
