SOUL AND SPIRIT IN THE RUSSIAN AND CHINESE CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY

Abstract. The concepts SPIRIT and SOUL are eternal aspects of the human perception of the world. The concept SOUL as a dominant of national consciousness and a key fragment of the national conceptual worldview is especially important for understanding the national character, peculiarities of national feelings and spiritual-moral values. The present work attempts to compare the Russian concepts SPIRIT and SOUL with the Chinese ones. Similar and different features in the world outlook of two peoples are identified.
