FIELD ORGANIZATION OF THE CONCEPT "NOBILITY" IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article reveals the content of the concept "nobility" in the worldview of native speakers of English and its development over three time periods: the XVI-XVII, XVIII-XIX and XX-XXI centuries. The development of the concept "nobility" in the minds of the British culture representatives is represented in the field model of its verbal expression, including indicators of the importance of conceptual characteristics in the structure of the concept. The change of the brightness of cognitive characteristics, forming the concept "nobility" in different time periods, causes the change of its field organization.
