Abstract. The article discovers the specificity of forming anthroponym derivative adjectives in the English language. It is shown that analyzed lexical units are formed by suffixation and contamination. Consequently, the author examines and identifies the most productive word-formative suffixes of English adjectives derived from a proper name; these suffixes emphasize the multi-aspect nature of anthropo-bases. The researcher classifies the mentioned lexical units into the semantic groups which indicate their important and unique role in the enrichment of the English vocabulary.
