BORROWINGS IN THE MODERN SPANISH VOCABULARY AS A RESULT OF "DEMAND AND OFFER"

Abstract. The article describes certain aspects of lexical status of the Spanish language under conditions of modern democracy when the influence of immigration processes and Anglo-Saxon culture and subculture is actualized. Analyzed lexical material allows the authors to conclude on massive borrowing of Anglicisms in Spanish, which is conditioned, on the one hand, by linguistic globalization and, on the other hand, by unmotivated borrowing under the existence of original semiotic signs.
