LANGUAGE IDEOLOGY: THEORY OF DESCRIPTION AND IMPLEMENTATION PRACTICE

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying language ideology as a set of language conceptions existing within certain social groups. The paper describes theoretical approaches and conceptions allowing the author to reveal the essence of language ideology as a subject of socio-cultural analysis and to identify key practical aspects of implementing language ideologies widespread in different linguo-cultural communities at the modern stage of their development.
