STYLISTIC MEANS OF MEDIA EVENTS INTERPRETATION IN THE MASS MEDIA OF RUSSIA AND GERMANY

Abstract. The article considers stylistic means of media events interpretation in the mass media of Russia and Germany. The author makes an attempt to prove that verbal and non-verbal speech in the mass media is not only a means for conveying information, but also an instrument through which new notions are formed that largely determine the way of human thinking. The choice of certain language means influences the structure of human thinking and the process of perception and representation of the reality. It is concluded that extracting newspaper information from the texts contributes to the formation of the worldview.
