LEXICAL-SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF THE CONTEMPORARY SPANISH LANGUAGE OF PERU

Abstract. The article deals with the lexical type of the territorial variation of the Spanish language of Peru; the lexical peculiarities of the Peruvian national variant of the Spanish language are studied taking into account the semantic changes in the general Spanish vocabulary; typology of modern lexis of Peru is considered; types of Peruvian variantisms are distinguished; their correlation with the linguistic norm of the Pyrenean national variant of the Spanish language is identified.
