FOLKLORE IN THE CREATIVE WORKS OF THE UDMURT CHILDREN’S POET G. A. KHODYREV

Abstract. The article examines the links between the artistic creative works of the Udmurt children’s poet G. A. Khodyrev and folklore. By the example of the analysis of particular works the authors study the features of the poet’s use of images, techniques and expressive means of oral folk poetry, describe the functions of folklore elements. An appeal to folklore traditions is one of the ways of expressing the author’s position of Khodyrev, an essential feature of his search in the field of an artistic form.
