ALLUSIVE AND PRECEDENT ANTHROPONYMS IN THE STRUCTURE OF THE BRITISH LINGUOCULTURAL CONCEPT "BEAUTY"

Abstract. In the article the allusive and precedent names-anthroponyms, which are a part of the figurative component of the British linguocultural concept "beauty", are analyzed. As a result of the definitional and contextual analysis of the allusive anthroponyms of both British and non-British origin, the relations between the concept "beauty" and other concepts of the British conceptual sphere are revealed, and thus its place in it is identified. The author focuses on the analysis of allusive or non-allusive nature of anthroponyms, as well as on the reasons why some precedent names become allusive.
