Abstract. The article deals with the formation of educational-cognitive competence of bachelors of pedagogical education through learning tasks on the basis of the modern information and communication technologies, enabling students to acquire knowledge on their own in the process of solving problem situations. The most effective method of training bachelors’ educational independence is doing Web-quests in the process of the study of the discipline "Foreign language".
