BASIC STAGES OF DEVELOPING JUNIOR PUPILS’ COGNITIVE ACTIVITY BY MEANS OF MUSICAL FOLKLORE IN THE SYSTEM OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATION

Abstract. The article introduces the stages of developing junior pupils’ cognitive activity by means of musical folklore among which the author identifies the following ones: forming and developing the interest for music; stimulating the pupils’ creative activity with a view to raise the knowledge on musical folklore; organizing pupils’ creative activity aimed to form the skills and abilities required to perform Russian musical and oral folklore and to perform creative tasks.
