STRATEGY OF HOLDING POWER IN SPEECH BEHAVIOR OF THE GERMAN POLITICAL LEADERS (BY THE EXAMPLE OF ANGELA MERKEL)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the communicative strategies, used by political leaders in the course of election campaign. By the example of speeches of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel the strategy of holding power and tactics, with the help of which this strategy is implemented, are considered. The analysis of A. Merkel’s speeches demonstrates that the ability to use communicative strategies for a successful formation of a political leader image is necessary.
