NICKNAMES IN THE AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL PROSE BY TSVETAEVA SISTERS AND ARIADNA EFRON: SEMANTIC AND FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTIC

Abstract. The article provides comprehensive analysis of nicknames as a specific segment of anthroponyms identified in the autobiographical prose by Marina and Anastasia Tsvetaeva, Ariadna Efron. The mentioned nicknames are classified into the thematic groups with an indication of their frequency, their semantic and functional characteristic is provided. The paper focuses on the fact that nicknames, being unofficial proper names, acquire metaphorical meaning in the literary textual space, the authors provide multi-aspect descriptive and emotional -expressive characteristic of Tsvetaeva’s family members and Efron.
