FACTOR OF THE LISTENER AND ITS ROLE IN THE PROCESS OF INTERVIEWING (BY THE EXAMPLE OF MAGAZINE INTERVIEW TEXTS)

Abstract. The article deals with the listener as a recipient of speech and its role in the process of verbal communication. Particular attention is drawn to the subordination of the speaker and the listener in the process of interviewing and to the approach to the study of the activity of the recipient during change in communicative roles. Taking into account all the characteristics reflected in the image of the listener the speaker will be able to carry out the process of language interaction efficiently and adequately and to reach the initial goals of communication successfully. The texts of magazine interviews published in editions for male and female audiences are used as practical material for the research.
