COMBINATION OF SYSTEM AND FUNCTIONALITY IN EXPLANATORY DICTIONARY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF ANALYSING PRESENTATION OF POLYSEMANTIC RELATIVE ADJECTIVES OF THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE)

Abstract. The article analyzes the peculiarities of using two different methods of studying the lexical system of the Russian language while creating an explanatory dictionary: systemic-structural and functional ones. Basing on regular typical definitions singled out by the author an attempt is undertaken to make up dictionary entries taking into account and combining the systemic organization of vocabulary with the analysis of functioning of the examined words in written texts.
