ON THE POLYFUNCTIONAL NATURE OF LANGUAGE AS AN OBJECT OF SCIENTIFIC COGNITION

Abstract. The article reveals the contents of the notion of quintessence of language. The approach to the research material is based on polyparadigmality, that prompts the authors to refer in the course of the study to the data of cognitive science, logic and philosophy, within the framework of which the interpretation of the scientific cognition of the object "language" is carried out. Thus, the authors attempt to adapt the methodological research principles of comparative sciences for the formation of new scientific paradigms.
