Abstract. This article deals with some aspects of V. A. Zhukovsky’s anthropocentric poetics, its expression in metaphorical images, which subsequently turned out to be crucial for the formation of F. I. Tyutchev’s creative personality. Traditionally Zhukovsky is excluded from Tyutchev’s predecessors, but the closeness of the organization of their poetic worlds becomes a feature of comparison, helping to identify the multilevel structure of lexical-semantic and ideological borrowing in the poetry of the XIX century.
