FOREIGN MEDICAL STUDENTS’ TEACHING IN AN INTERMEDIATE LANGUAGE AS AN INNOVATIVE METHOD IN TEACHING THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article discusses the peculiarities of teaching the Russian language to foreign medical students using English as an intermediate language, describes the specificity of the educational process organization and new forms of teaching. The authors substantiate the position that the use of the intermediate language is an innovative form of teaching and contributes to the successful linguistic and socio-cultural adaptation of foreign students in the modern teaching conditions in the Russian institutions of higher education.
