TEACHING THE RUSSIAN PHRASEOLOGY TO FOREIGN STUDENTS

Abstract. The article deals with the specificity and problems of teaching the Russian phraseology to foreign students from the perspective of the form of phraseological units, their prototypes, images, semantics, syntactic models, themes and situations, in which they can be used. Teaching phraseology familiarizes foreign students with the culture of the Russian people and forms their interest not only in the Russian language, but in the culture.
