THE LAW OF CHRONOLOGICAL INCOMPATIBILITY IN A FAIRY TALE

Abstract. The article considers the manifestations of the folklore law of incompatibility of simultaneous plot actions of characters in various topoi. Such single-line nature of the composition doesn’t assume the parallelism of plotlines. However, in separate fairy types about two and more brothers-heroes the transformation of an invariant scheme is detected. The analysis of a fairy tale with three main characters and independent plotlines is proposed as an example. The peculiarity of the text structure is created by the narrator on the traditional basis. The contamination of fairy tales contributes to a more complete illustration of their characters.
