DYNAMICS OF THE FASHION MAGAZINE DEVELOPMENT AS A CREOLIZED TEXT (BY THE MATERIAL OF THE ANALYSIS OF THE ENGLISH GLOSSY MAGAZINE HARPER'S BAZAAR)

Abstract. This article analyzes the English creolized texts of the "glossy" magazine Harper's Bazaar . The material of the study is the issues of Harper's Bazaar of 1868 and 2015. The purpose of the research is to follow the dynamics of the creolized text formation in Harper's Bazaar magazine. It is stated that in the issues of the magazine under study of 1868 the verbal component dominates over the non-verbal one; in the issues of Harper's Bazaar of 2015 a full-scale displacement of the verbal component takes place.
