THE PRAGMATIC ASPECT OF ERGONYMY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE NAMES OF THE PUBLIC CATERING ESTABLISHMENTS OF UFA)

Abstract. The article is based on the material of the names of the commercial enterprises of Ufa - ergonyms, gives the definition of the term. The question of the presence of the pragmatic function in ergonyms is discussed. On the basis of the analysis the author gives the motivational classification of these naming units by the example of the names of the public catering establishments of Ufa.
