Abstract. The paper addresses the problem of transferring the specifics of author’s individual style in the popular science texts focused on the issues of economy and management. The techniques to translate author’s individual linguistic means in the popular science texts are under analysis. Antithesis is considered as a basic means to transfer author’s style. This device represents the author’s conception on specifics of oppositions and their perception by the representatives of different linguistic communities.
