MODELING THE POSSIBLE WORLD IN THE LETTER TO FUTURE IN THE ENGLISH INTERNET-COMMUNICATION

Abstract. The article examines the new type of epistolary genre - self-addressed letter to future functioning in the Internet. As one of the key functions of such a letter the author identifies prognostic function. According to the researcher, the coefficient of the possible world’s ontological availability increases within the following modality range: modality of reality - modality of imperativeness - modality of irreality - modality of hope.
