COOPERATION AND CONFRONTATION IN THE RUSSIAN NATIONALISTS’ PARLIAMENTARY SPEECHES AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY (BY THE EXAMPLE OF P. A. KRUSHEVAN’S SPEECHES)

Abstract. The article by the material of parliamentary speeches analyzes the rhetorical portrait of the famous politician-nationalist of the beginning of the XX century P. A. Krushevan. The author identifies the features of verbal cooperation: "we-approach", addressing the audience, self-justification, euphemization. The paper analyzes the correlation of verbal cooperation with a tendency to confrontation which manifests itself in the usage of low vocabulary regarding the opponents and appropriation of a national voice status. The researcher concludes on the influence of institutional restrictions on the orators-radicals’ speeches.
