THE PECULIARITIES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ COGNITIVE INDEPENDENCE IN THE PROCESS OF INTEGRATED PROJECT ACTIVITY

Abstract. The paper examines the impact of the integrated project activity on the development of students’ cognitive independence. It is determined that students’ cognitive independence in the course of the project activity develops in the following directions: foreign language, information-technological, professional, personal ones. The author concludes that, creating projects, students acquire the skills of self-education and self-development necessary for the future professional activity.
