CASE METHOD ON STUDYING METHODICAL COMPETENCE OF A FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of using qualitative methods in the pedagogical studies; the author discovers the case-study research potential in relation to the foreign language teacher’s methodical competence. The paper describes the basic stages of using this method while studying methodical competence formation of the future bachelor of pedagogical education in the professionally oriented foreign language teaching.
