THE ROLE OF S. N. ABDULLAEV IN THE FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE DARGIN LITERARY LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article deals with the issues related to the activity of the linguist S. N. Abdullaev in the sphere of the study of one of the Dagestan languages - the Dargin language. For the first time the author draws attention to the contribution of the scientist to the linguistics of the Dargin language, and to the formation and establishment of the literary language. As the result of the research the significant contribution of the scientist to the research of the Dargin language, to the identification of the dialect base of the Dargin literary language, and then to its formation and establishment is revealed.
