Abstract. The article aims to justify the reasonability of using creative home tasks while teaching professional foreign language to the future bachelors of the field of study "Business Informatics". The author argues that performing such tasks promotes the formation of students’ general cultural and professional competences, developing their foreign language communicative competence in the professional context.
