Abstract. In the article the attempt to describe the derivation of adjectives in the Lower-Kolyma dialect of the Even language is made. The areal characteristic of the affixes involved in the process of formation of adjectives categories, degrees of comparison, and the degree of quality is presented. Many affixes and forms have a narrow local character and function only in this dialect. The formation of adjectives in the language of Evens of the Lower Kolyma has not been studied in scientific literature before.
