THE SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF ADJECTIVES WITH TEMPERATURE CONNOTATIONS BY THE MATERIAL OF THE SWEDISH AND RUSSIAN LANGUAGES: THE CONSTRUCTION OF A METAPHORICAL TEMPERATURE SCALE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the semantic analysis of temperature adjectives in the Swedish and Russian languages. The issue of the existence of a metaphorical temperature scale, individual for each of the languages under study, is in the basis of the analysis. During the research the construction of the classification of temperature adjectives in the Swedish and Russian languages depending on the intensity of the described emotions or feelings, contained in their semantics, is done.
