METHODOLOGY OF RESEARCH OF ADJECTIVES WITH TEMPERATURE CONNOTATIONS: THE ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESS OF TEMPERATURE PERCEPTION

Abstract. Carrying out the semantic analysis of adjectives with temperature connotations involves the consideration of their lexical-semantic variants from the point of view of a number of categories. The purpose of this article is to develop a methodology for the semantic research of adjectives with temperature meanings by the material of the Swedish language. As a part of the work the author constructs a model of the analysis for the research of the process of temperature perception in adjectives with the concrete and abstract meanings.
