ON REDUPLICATION OF ADJECTIVES IN THE MODERN CHINESE LANGUAGE

Abstract. In this article the authors consider the syntactic features of complete and partial reduplication of adjectives in the modern Chinese language, as well as their functioning in the Chinese sentence. The methods of doubling monosyllabic and disyllabic adjectives by models AA, AABB, ABAB, ABB, A?AB are described. The examples of doubled adjectives formation by these models are given.
