VALUES OF A CONTEMPORARY PUPIL’S CIVIL IDENTITY: EXPERIENCE OF ANALYSING EXPERIMENTAL DATA

Abstract. The article examines the issue of the development of Russian pupils’ civil identity. The connection of civil identity with the notions "national identity", "patriotism as a national idea of Russian statehood" is traced. The basic statements of the empirical and experimental study of the efficiency of the axiological approach to the development of pupils’ civil identity by means of a school subject are described. In this connection the peculiarities of self-identification and the manifestation of civil and patriotic values in contemporary pupils’ "picture of the world" revealed during the diagnostic stage of the experiment are noted.
