FIGURATIVE SYSTEM OF THE NOVEL BY T. TOLSTAYA "KYS"

Abstract. The article examines the figurative system of the novel by T. Tolstaya "Kys", the position of the main character Benedict in the system of the relations of the teacher and the pupil, the beloved and his chosen one, the employer and the employee, the friend and the buddy. The authors show that the character is in the middle position at the beginning of the novel and then he loses the position of the central personage towards the end of the work choosing revolutionary radical leftism, but not the liberal right wing at all the levels of connection with accompanying characters.
