TEACHING WRITING TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PECULIARITIES OF DISCOURSES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the examination of the problem of taking into account the peculiarities of discourses while teaching writing in a foreign language. The authors dwell on the interpretations of the notion "discourse" significant for the methodology of teaching foreign languages. The conclusion is made about the reasonability of teaching written speech in a foreign language by the material of compositions, informal and business letters.
