THE BASIC AND ACCOMPANYING TASKS OF TEACHING WRITTEN SPEECH IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN VARIOUS TARGET AUDIENCES

Abstract. The issues connected with the formation of competences while teaching foreign-language written speech are considered taking into account the needs of various categories of students. The tasks of teaching writing in the framework of the dichotomy "purpose / teaching means" are analyzed. The possibilities of the positive transfer of skills and competences formed in the process of teaching written speech to the formation of the competences topical for other aspects of a foreign language mastering are specified.
