INTERNATIONALISMS IN ENGLISH LEGAL TERMINOLOGY

Abstract. The article considers the role of borrowings in the formation of English legal terminology. A special group of international words is a result of borrowing lexical units by the interaction of languages. The author pays attention to the extra-linguistic factors of international terms formation in English legal terminology. The semantic and phonetic characteristics of international terms are shown.
