PRINCIPLES OF ANTIQUE DRAMA IN CONDITIONS OF POST-MODERNIST POETICS

Abstract. The article reproduces a comparative analysis of antique drama poetics with the general principles of the organization of artistic space in the post-modernist text. The aim of this work is to ascertain the most typical techniques of recreating the dramatic construct of "Walpurgis Night, or The Steps of the Commander" by Venedikt Erofeev, which is a complex system that inherited a number of important structural components of antique drama.
