ON THE ISSUE OF REGIONAL LITERATURES OF THE PEOPLES OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AT PRESENT

Abstract. The article deals with the problems of the history of literature, the theory and artistic criticism of the contemporary North Caucasian literary process of the post-Soviet period. The author carries out a comparative analysis of the state of science about literature of the Soviet and post-Soviet periods and identifies side effects requiring a scientific solution. The significance of artistic criticism in the formation of a reader’s view on literature is highlighted.
