ON THE EXPERIENCE OF THE STUDY OF SEMANTIC PECULIARITIES OF ADJECTIVE-SUBSTANTIVE WORD-COMBINATIONS

Abstract. The article analyses the experience of the study of semantic relations of the parts of an attributive word-combination. It is concluded that the expansion of methodology of researches will allow defining more accurately the essence of intra-word connections and semantic correlations of a noun and an adjective in the attributive word-combination, revealing mechanisms of a new meaning generation, not being reduced to the sum of juxtapositioning meanings of its parts.
